Nyssa (In Foster Home)

Updated notes from foster (6-18-24) Nyssa She's the biggest cuddle bug. Loves to be loved. Loves to play outside and be around the company of others. A great family dog! Volunteer Brooke Roberts took Nyssa on a Hiking Buddies adventure on 5-3-24. They had a great time and it was a nice break from the shelter for timid Nyssa. Brooke reported that Nyssa was nervous at first but found comfort in being close to her. She wagged her tail a lot since she was so happy to be outside and with someone she felt comfortable with. She is obviously not enjoying being in the shelter setting as many don't but she showed Brooke how she could come out of her shell and enjoy life in just being a normal dog on an adventure and getting attention and love. Brooke said overall Nyssa is very calm and sweet. She was treat motivated and will let you handle her and even pick her up with no problem. Come meet this sweetheart for yourself and become her hero to take her to a safe loving environment where she can blossom into all she is meant to be!
