Nutmeg

Nutmeg, a fast track member of the Underdog Uprising program! She's a love not a fighter, a bit of a chunkier, but this good girl is looking for a special foster who can give her the love, attention, and exercise she needs to live her best life! Nutmeg is still learning to "dog but loves easy going walks with lots of sniffy time to explore the good smells of the world, gentle love and attention and snuggles and pets. She occasionally shows engagement with toys and balls when she's in zoomie mode. Mostly she loves laying around and getting treats and love. She is a big fan of burying her goodies for later discovery, and would love a fenced yard to run and play in! She will do best, for the time being, in a home where she can have some solo dog attention with her person or people, a patient person to continue helping her get comfortable with riding in cars, and generally being introduced to the wider world, and/or time with other dogs who enjoy rough play. Kids and cats are unknown entities to Nutmeg right now. This girl needs out of the kennel and to have some home time to learn how to live in a loving home! She's a gentle and quiet soul, who has eyes to make your heart melt and chill nature just looking for love. This girl is an easy going companion!
