Nugget

Meet Nugget! This guy is a big personality in a little body. He's 8 lbs of cuddles, playfulness, and personality. A velcro dog, Nugget will never be far away and is always available for pets and kisses. We think Nugget is awesome for many reasons: - Rides great in a car - Excellent work from home companion and just quietly hangs out next to you - His playful antics will make you laugh every day - He sleeps right next to you at night - Smart and would probably love enrichment toys - Food motivated (and even better, not picky!) - Crate trained (will bark a few mins initially, but quickly calms down) While Nugget gets along with his foster siblings that are around his size, he doesn't really like big dogs. If you already have a dog, we'll want to do a meet and greet first to make sure it's a match. Or if you want Nugget to be your one and only, he'll make sure to shower you in all the love you need. Nugget came to the rescue from a shelter partner after being hit by a car. He's a resilient little pup and has spent the last few months recovering with us. He just had his final surgery 3 weeks ago and is recovering great. Nugget has no problems getting around, but will need a family dedicated to doing a few physical therapy exercises with him daily until he's at full strength.
