This little Nugget has a Heart of Gold! Hi there, I'm Nugget! At just 9 months old and 11 pounds, I might be small, but I've got a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. I'm a male Corgi mix (or so they tell me) and am already neutered. I found myself in a bit of a rough patch, wandering the streets of National City alone. Luckily, I found a kind person on their daily walk, and I decided to follow them home. I guess you could say I was on the hunt for my very own nugget of love, and I'm so grateful I was found! I'm a playful, high-energy pup who's happiest when I'm with my people and other pooches I'm a total velcro puppy. Can you blame me given my history? If you're looking for a loyal shadow, I'm your guy! I love to chase and play with other dogs, and I'm always up for a good snuggle session. Just like a nugget of gold, I'm a rare find who's eager to please and full of affection. Now, let's talk about my quirks. I do have some separation anxiety, and I get pretty anxious if I can't keep my eyes on my humans. But with patience and training, I'm confident I can learn to feel secure. I'm still working on my bathroom training and crate training, but I'm a champ on the leash. I'm ready to learnI just need someone who can show me the ropes and help me build trust. I'd thrive in a home where I have a doggy sibling (or two!) to play with and learn from. I might be a bit skittish and unsure of new people at first, but once I warm up, I'm the sweetest, most loving little guy you'll ever meet.
