Spotlight on Adoptable Dog Nova! 7-Month-old Nova is looking for her forever home. Nova came to Clancy’s Dream with 3 other pups who were rescued from an Amish farmer. Because of circumstances beyond her control, Nova was returned to Clancy’s Dream after being adopted several months ago. She is back in her original foster home and doing just great! DNA shows that Nova is 81.5% Border Collie and 18.5% Kelpie! Both breeds are energetic and known for herding instinct and behaviors. Nova is eager to please and she is very treat motivated. Foster Mom Mary is working on basic obedience and impulse control with Nova, who is a very quick study. Nova is a very active girl who would love another well-trained playmate as a role model & mentor. She is currently in a home with dog-savvy young children and would be fine in a similar environment. The perfect adopter for Nova will be one who is willing to work with Nova’s strengths and intelligence. She needs an outlet for both her brain and her body.
