My Story

Check out the video of Nora walking with her brother! Neddy is the one with the leash in his mouth!!
Sweet Nora is still looking for a new home, with or without her brother Neddy.
Both of these dogs were left behind at a kennel for months, in a state of neglect. They were both almost blind with eye infections and had horrible discharge coming from their eyes. That had to be pretty painful, plus they couldn't even see. Now, thanks to TNT, they have both had eye surgery.
Nora is described as a lovebug and is living in a foster home with three male Shar-pei.
Both dogs have had entropian eye surgery as well as their spay and neuter.
Here is what her foster family had to say about the goofy side of Nora that has come out now that she can see better!
"Nora is like a different dog only two days after surgery. She is playing around the house like a little puppy- it is remarkable!" "She keeps getting the leashes and putting them in me or Jeff’s lap. She is sooo smart (it doesn’t take much to impress us as we live with Bentley who is a little slow on the uptake). This morning she took a stuffed dog from Mina’s room, it was placed in a bench that has four storage compartments- Jeff said to her “No Nora, put it back” and she put it right back in the right storage compartment. Amazing! She was running around outside leaping and trying to get Bentley to play with her- Bent is a little gun shy because he has tried many times to play with her and it usually ends with her growling at him. She is really doing well and engaging in play and cuddles with all the dogs."
Clearly some badly needed medical care has made all the difference to Nora. Its a shame that she had to suffer so long because of an irresponsible owner.
Nora, typical female(!), is the leader of the siblings and would be fine on her own or with another submissive male if they cannot find a home together.
