Nola

My name is Nola, and I am a 2-3 year old, adorable black brindle pocket pittie girl. I am the PERFECT size for maximum cuteness factor, with the sweetest face to match. I love treats and going for walks where I can sniff around my environment and explore the world. I also love being a couch potato and am happy to lay in my little bed next to my person just keeping them company. Luckily, I was rescued from the shelter and am safe in a foster home while I'm waiting for a family of my very own. I’ve made dog friends in my foster home. I love to share beds or the crate with my foster brother or sisters. I’d do best with slow intros with well balanced dogs. I’m still too interested in the cats, but I don’t mind the chickens in their pen. I’d probably do best with older dog savvy children, as I can still get excited, jumpy and mouthy. Balls, toys and bones are also my jam. I love to carry them around as well as chew them, so “indestructible” ones are best. I know basic commands like sit, down, wait and shake. I’m very food motivated, so I’d be happy to learn more commands or tricks. I’m crate trained, potty trained, chipped and up to date on my vaccinations. I love going for car rides, and I’m perfect in the crate in the car. I would love a home that can give me the space to warm up at my own pace and help me learn that the world is not such a scary place. I’ve come so far from the scared, skinny, neglected girl I was when I ended up in the shelter.
