Nitro

Meet Nitro. Nitro is a lovely red neutered male Doberman who is looking for a new home to call his own. Nitro was given to Doberman Rescue by the NSPCA, we offered to take him off their hands since they are always so full helping so many dogs. Nitro is around 5 years old, he has been neutered and vaccinated as well as microchipped and has had a blood panel run with all results normal and he is ready to go. This boy has a take charge attitute and if his owner doesn't take charge, Nitro will. Nitro is a marshmellow once he knows who is in charge, I will not adopt Nico to a first time Doberman owner. Nitro is very active and playful and loves to play a good game of chase the toy. We do know that Nitro has some basic obedience and he knows sit and down but he still pulls on the leash so he will need work on that he is also crate trained and we are working on housetraining. We have found Nitro to be very safe around female dogs, he will not harass them and will only try to play with them, I don't think a male dog would get along with Nitro. Nitro is a great protector and once he has bonded to his new owner, they can feel safe with this loyal boy watching out for them.
