My Story

Nina is a 12-18 month old Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) Schipperke- possibly some terrier- mix who weighs almost 15 pounds. She is solid merle and has half blue half brown eyes. Nini (her nickname) is a strikingly beautiful, loyal, and sweet young female. She is incredibly responsive to other dogs and humans; she wants to follow commands and please her owners. Her intelligence is above average with her becoming house trained, learning "no," and learning "sit" in two days. Her performance would be excellent in obedience training, and I think she would enjoy agility or a family who would take her for walks or jogging trips. She likes to ride in the car and loves playing with other friendly dogs. She is submissive and goes along with whatever game her canine friends are playing. She loves to give kisses and becomes loyal very quickly to her owners. Nina's picture does not do her justice; she is one of the most beautiful and unique dogs I have ever seen. Nina will need an indoor home with a secure wooden fence. She will go into her crate with some whining for a few minutes. She will quieten down. She does not touch things that are not hers and is not destructive when left out with her other canine friends while mom or dad is at work. She sleeps in bed with me and settles down quickly with a kiss and a couple of love pats. If Nina sounds like she might be the perfect match for your family, please email [email protected] for an application. Home and vet check required. No children under 10, please.
