My name is Niky and I have a dream where I am part of a family and Animatch agrees that now it will happen. I recently made the long journey from Tunisia, although I am sad that I had to leave so many behind. Special thanks to my rescuers who persist in their goal of making a difference one dog at a time. If not for them, I would not have this chance. Despite a harsh beginning, I will never feel alone again. If you adopt me, you must be ready to start from square one. Slow and steady with lots of socialization, encouragement, and rewards. Another well-balanced dog in the home to show me the ropes would be wonderful. I am smart and once I am in my permanent home, I know that I can adapt. I am learning that walks can be fun and there is no need to be afraid when my human is close by.
