Niko is a Miniature Pinscher / Chihuahua mix and is approximately 10 yrs old. She arrived needing to be spayed and with mammary tumors. The tumors have been removed and we were thrilled that pathology reported that all were benign. Sadly, during her surgery, a needle was discovered inside of her. After two professional opinions, it was decided to leave it there. Annual x-rays are recommended to make sure the needle has not moved. She doesn't show any signs of pain from it. Niko has come a long way and is now in need of a family that will accept her for who she is.
