Nikko

As a 2-year-old Catahoula mix, Nikko’s got loads of energy and will make a fun companion! He is protective of his people and skeptical of strangers. We know there is a place for him to reach his full potential and live his best life! He is sweet with the people he trusts and is a precious angel baby who leans into you, loves neck and chest scratches, and will look deep in your eyes. He does great with other dogs and even goes to our play groups! He would do best in a home with no children, as he is already nervous with new people. He is very loyal to his people and will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to put in the work to win his heart! At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.
