Nikko

It was not an easy decision, but we have selected a potential adopter for Nikko. Those who have applied, please consider the many other rescue dogs in need of a good home.

Nikko is a 4 months old Great Dane. He recently had his ears cropped by Dr. Dikeman, who is one of the best vets to do a show crop (it cost $450).

Nikko is a typical Great Dane puppy. He is lovable and full of energy. He needs to go to a home with other large dogs, so he'll have playmates. As all puppies, he will also need to go through basic obedience. Nikko is already house trained, kennel trained and he walks well on a leash.

This puppy would normally sell for about $1,000, but considering that he is being adopted through our rescue, we decided to set his adoption fee at $350.

Please note:

Adopting a dog is a serious commitment, more so if it is a puppy.

Before you apply, please research the breed and make sure it's the right one for you and your family.

Make sure you can provide the dog with all it's needs, including but not limited to: quality food, veterinary care, training, proper bedding and especially lots of love and attention.

If you live out of state, you must be able to come to Austin for a meet-n-greet and an interview. We do not ship dogs.
