This poor girl lost her first owners, was taken in by a new family and then brought to our shelter just a few months later when they found out a baby was on the way. Sweet Nikki is 9 years old with tons of energy left in her. She is incredibly well trained and has a good head on her shoulders. We all really feel for her... she's having a hard time getting used to the daily noises and smells at the shelter and is very anxious. Nikki is happy to meet new people and other dogs. She would do well in a home with people home most or all of the time as she does suffer from separation anxiety... understandable as she has been bounced from home to home. Nikki needs a stable, loving family who can help her work through her anxieties and see her for the loving little girl she is.
