Niki is a purebred AKC registered Bernese Mt Dog, rescued from one of those Amish puppy mills in the midwest. She is a very pretty girl, on the smaller side for a Berner, about 21-22 inches tall and about 65 lbs. She is one and a half years old. Niki is gentle and sweet, loves to bounce and romp in the snow with the other dogs. She is still shy and timid w/ new people/places, but improving with socialization. She would probably be too overwhelmed to live happily in a household w/ young children, however. (Of course like for all our dogs we require her adoptive home to have a securely fenced yard for her safety.)
