My name is Nico. I have had a wonderful start in life because my mother was transported to ARVSS when my litter was only one week old! I am a husky/retriever mix. I have the potential to be well over 50 lbs-- my mother is about 55 lbs. I was born around April 18, 2010

I am just now getting crate training and doing very well. I like to play and run around--and I learn quickly when the reward is food!

My breed is listed as husky/retriever. My mother, who is also with ARVSS, is a husky/shep mix and our father is some sort of retriever. Although we do not know about our father--we have our mothers kind and playful disposition--along with her energy!

I enjoy children, I like cats and I like other dogs.

Adoption fees:
$250.00: Puppies 6 months and under
$250.00: Dogs under 30 pounds
$175.00: Dogs over 30 pounds, over 6 months
There will be a $50.00 refund with proof of obedience class.

Adoption fee includes: microchipping, spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies if age appropriate, HW testing for adult dogs over 6 months and deworming, HW preventative and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. ARVSS encourages adoptors to visit their own vet as soon as possible after the adoption.
