Hi! I’m Nick, named after St. Nicolaus. I was born on November 26, 2023. I’m a big, chonky boy with a black head, white body, and black spots, built like a Staffie/Mastiff mix. I love my puppy kibble and Chew-a-Bulls. Foster mom won’t allow me to have any of her food. She is stingy and says human food isn’t good for puppies. I don’t mind the water. Foster mom fills up the kiddie pool for us on really hot days and I’ll dip my paws in to cool off. I love to sit and try to catch the water from the hose while foster mom is filling the pool up. I sit really well for a bath in the bathtub too. My perfect day would be to wake up and go outside to lounge in the sun. I would get breakfast, lunch, dinner and multiple snacks in between. I must maintain my hefty figure! I like short walks around the block, but mostly a great day would be spent on the couch laying with my human watching TV. I am a gentle soul who loves to be with my people. I’m eager to please my human as well. Very easy going and chill around the house when I’m by myself. My puppy energy comes out around other dogs. I walk really nicely on leash, staying near my human. I love to go for short walks. I am also potty-trained. I even go outside if it’s raining. I can be pushy with my litter mates when I play. Sometimes I need a time out. I’m still a puppy doing puppy things so I may or may not chew up my crate mats. I know how to sit and take treats gently. Foster mom has been working on “down” with me and I almost understand what she wants. But I love getting treats, so I’m highly motivated to learn more tricks. Let’s do some training (with lots of treats please)! Before Pits & Pals, my mom was found pregnant on the streets. A kind person took her in, and she had me and my littermates that same night. We’ve been in a loving foster home since birth. If you’re looking for a strong, loving, and playful pup, I’m your guy!
