Hi! Newton here. Not Isaac or Fig, just Newton. I'm a very happy, 2-year-old, 67-pound Catahoula Leopard Dog-mix who loves to wag, prance and explore. I came from a challenging, over-crowded situation but it hasn't stopped me from learning to be a great, couch-loving family member. I'm fully house and crate trained. I also use, and love, the doggy door! The leash was completely foreign to me a month ago, but I've greatly improved! I get along with other dogs and would actually prefer another canine in my furever home. I'm also okay with dog-savvy feline friends. Although I haven't met children yet, I would probably be fine with older, sturdy kids. I'm just an all-around great guy.
