Newton is approximately 2 years old in these pictures taken June 30, 2008. We came up with the name Newton for him because he is just soooooooo smart. He walks well on a leash, does great in the car, is housebroken, and just picks up on things you want him to do very quickly. Newton is very loving and friendly. He enjoys playing with toys, other dogs, and running around the yard. His favorite thing is to be next to people. Either curled up next to you or playing with you. Newton gets along with all of the other dogs even when they try to start a fight with him. He is a lover, not a fighter.
We got Newton when a farmer/rancher called us to say that he had been at his farm for several weeks. The farmer was afraid that one of the other farmers/ranchers were going to shoot him.
