Meet Newby! This peanut butter colored, 6 yr old beagle/lab mix sat in a shelter for over a year. How his golden eyes and huge grin didn't melt someone's heart in that time is a mystery. When Newby came in to PBSF's care, he tipped the scales at 55 lbs. Newby loves going for walks and has lost 10 lbs. He needs an owner dedicated to making sure he gets enough exercise and portion controls his meals. Newby also loves playing with his foster doggy friends and trips to the dog park bars. Newby loves every human he meets and is always ready for belly rubs or pets. His mischievous Beagle side does come out as he is very curious about things. He has been known to swipe socks, stuffed animals, etc. Newby is crate trained and needs to be crated when you aren't home. Newby likes snuggling on the couch, in bed, and will keep your warm this winter. Apply to adopt if he sounds like a match for you or someone you know. He's waited way too long for his family!
