Nessie is an approximately two year old Scottish deerhound who will be arriving at BDAR on January 9th. She is reportedly a sweet girl who likes to lean into people. She gets along well wiht other dogs. Sighthounds are athletic dogs, who are often described as aloof. This is because they bond tightly to their families but may not be immediately enamored of new people. They are gentle giants and do not require lots of living space. We will post more information about Nessie as we get to know her better.
