Hello, my name is Nerissa. I am a wonderfully sweet 2 year old female dachshund mix. I weigh approximately 20lbs and my foster mommy loves me already! I am very sweet and love to give great kisses. I like to play and I like to snuggle. I love attention from my foster mom. I am crate trained and house trained.

I enjoy going for walks and playing in the yard. I also ride well in the car. I love to run around with my toys. I am a very happy girl. I was cat tested and seem to want to stay clear of them and not get in their way. I am fostered with other dogs and do well, but would be best suited with a male or as an only pet. I am a bit timid with strangers, but once I warm up I am a complete love! I would love to have a home of my own where I can settle in. I would prefer a fenced yard with toys to play with. Your adoption donation is used to care for the many dogs that enter into rescue. All dogs leave rescue vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and medically checked out. In some cases they receive dentals, ear flush, cherry eye surgery, and so on to ensure that they are healthy and ready to be adopted. Your adoption donation is very much appreciated and needed to help care for the many needy dogs that enter into rescue. New adopters will receive a FREE exam coupon at a local veterinary clinic in Lynnwood (so be sure to ask about this coupon if you are interested).

NWIPR's adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, screening, in person meeting, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract.

NWIPR is the pet's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general and unique needs, therefore adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption for any reason.
