This poor guy was left tied to a tree without shelter all Summer, with hardly any food or water we're told "because he would tip it over." A good samaritan stopped by and worked with the family for a few weeks to encourage them to release him to rescue. Now that he is cared for and loved, his personality is shining through as a wonderful dog with great potential.
Nemo especially loves women and kids. He is extremely smart and a fast learner, eager to please. At best guess, he is probably a mix of Black Mouth Cur, Beagle and Shepherd. His photos make him look larger than he actually is (he is on the smaller size of a medium sized dog).
Because he was left tied to a tree, he is not housebroken so we are working on that and have him scheduled to be neutered. Nemo is probably close to a year old. Although he appears to be socialized with his play bow and tail wagging, we plan to test him with dogs and cats soon.
