Checkout what her foster has to say: "Nelly is a playful, active, happy girl! She loves to play fetch and pickup sticks on her walks. She also enjoys cuddling on the couch after plenty of playtime. Nelly gets along well with the other dogs, cats, and children she's met so far. In just a few days she has already learned 'sit' and 'paw' and has demonstrated that she is kennel trained. More than anything, Nelly wants to be by your side at all times. She would be a loyal companion to an active family!" * * * Nelly is a sweet but very shy girl. One of the workers was walking her and told me she's been too frightened to leave her kennel until today. I was really surprised that she'd come to me and let me pet her. She even took a few treats from me. When it was time to go, Nelly decided she didn't want to leave, so it might be a good idea to leave a leash on her outside until she's more used to things. The person that found Nelly had her for several weeks and said she's house trained. She's a sweet dog who wants to feel safe and longs to be loved.
