Hi Natasha Rose!
This sweet girl is an almost 7 year old Shih Tzu. She was surrendered to our care from a commercial breeder in Lancaster when she got too old to keep producing puppies to sell. She is 17 lbs.
Sweet, gentle Natasha. We love her very much here. She is a shy, timid pup that clearly had a tough life so far. Despite the little care she received until she came to rescue, she allows us all handling without any issues (including being picked up). She is a but too nervous to walk on a leash but with time she does explore the area she is in with the leash on - she just will prefer to choose where she goes and freezes when you try to lead her on the leash. She would really like a more quiet family that will love her and help build up her confidence. A social, friendly dog at home would be great for her.
Natasha would need to meet any resident dogs.
She will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also scheduled for a dental.
