Natalie is eager.

Before she came to us, she didn't have much socialization or confidence.
The volunteers sat with her, sometimes just hugged her. We made her understand that she's a perfect little pup just the way she is.
She's still a little awkward on a leash, but she tries. She still thinks she is a lap dog.
