Hi, I'm Nala! I was rescued crying outside an Oxxo, a convenience store, in the town of La Puerta; that day I had to work because the people who took care of me were going on a brigade and I had to accompany them all day long, always behaving very well. I had already been adopted, but my foster had to take me back in because the adopters were not taking proper care of me. My foster family can no longer take care of me and their other furry companions Papitas, Capuchino, Amor, and Azul, due to a health situation at home. My name is Nala - like the lioness from The Lion King - because I have been very independent since I was a pup. I live on the patio of the house where I have lived with about 11 dogs of different ages and temperaments. It is important to take precautions because if I see the opportunity, I will escape from home to go out to keep watch of the street. I'm known for being very playful, but at the same time patient and loving with both children and adults. I am very active, so I love to play; I also enjoy having her back scratched and being spoken to with love. One trick I often do is to go between people's legs to stick her head out so that I can be petted.
