Nala

One of many types of giant Mastiffs, Nala is an Italian Mastiff (Cane Corso). This little 1 year old, black female sweetie is coming into our rescue because her family can't take her along when they move. She is really smart and can show you all of the things she has already learned...come, sit, drop, stay, go to your cage. She also has learned to be good while walking on a leash, is house trained, and crate trained. She is a great friend of dogs she lives with and dogs at her day care she attends regularly, but we aren't sure how she feels about cats . Bonus: she is not a digger or chewer, but she barks a bit to let you know there is something of concern nearby. She is very shy and fearful, especially of strangers and new situations that she encounters. Kids are very scary for her right now, so a kiddo-free forever home is a must. A strong leader who has plenty of time to work with her will help her overcome her shyness, and then she will check all the Good Dog boxes.
