Myrtle: Female, 2 years, Shepherd/cattle dog mix, 50 lbs.
Myrtle was surrendered with her puppies and several other dogs. They had spent most of their lives living in a basement with very little socialization. Myrtle is a sweet girl once she warms up and gets to know you, but she can be pretty nervous beforehand. She does well with other dogs but would prefer a home without cats. To ensure the best fit for Myrtle and her new family, we are requiring that all members of the household (dogs and people) come to meet her prior to adoption. Myrtle would prefer a home without children.
