Meet Murphy! This poor boy has had his life uprooted! He was owned by a young couple who had a 1 1/2 year old and a baby on the way. They were moving in a week and SOS believes mom hit her emotional overload point, which is common with many pregnant mothers or those with brand new babies. The responsibility of owning a dog can be overwhelming and the dog, unfortunately, is usually the first thing to go. SOS asks that when you adopt a dog that you take into consideration the life span of the animal and take responsibility for keeping the animal through its life. Animals are not disposable items, but are companions who become attached to their owners and a part of their life. Murphy is a love and would make a great dog for a quieter home or someone who knows the Schnauzer breed. He is crate trained, fully housebroken, good with other dogs, good with kids after the introduction, doesn't get on the furniture, and perfect in the house setting. He will come with a crate, sleepy bed, and a blanket. He needs to be fed Purina One Lamb and Rice formula as he has skin sensitive to chicken intake.
