Hi, I'm Murphy and I am a rather shy 1 year old neutered male Cocker Spaniel. I am not used to meeting new people or going to new places. My last owner could no longer care for me so here I am at the animal shelter with all these barking dogs that scare me very much. I am not potty trained to the outdoors, just to pads in the house so my new owners will have to be patient with me and teach me how to go potty outdoors. I really want to love you and will if you just give me a minute to get used to you, After that you will see what a great, friendly, lovable boy I am. I really hope my new owners will take me to obedience classes so I can get used to meeting new people and new dogs. Also I want to learn how to be the perfect dog you are looking for. I am OK with cats and also with kids who know that they have to take their time with me. So if you are looking for a great dog who is a little slow to warm up but who will love you forever, come in to see me and maybe even take me home.
