My name's Muffy and I need a new home. I came from a shelter in Tennessee where my human mom surrendered me because she was very ill. She had to go into the hospital, and she couldn't take care of me any longer. When we said good-bye to each other, she was very sad, and so was I. She loved me very much, and now I only hope that someone else--who loves me just as much--will adopt me. I am about 8 months old and I'm a bundle of energy. (My foster mom says I look like a run-away mop with no handle!) I love other dogs and I love to play, play, play--but I'm cuddly too, once I get tired. (Sorry about the photo...I was having a bad hair day because I needed a good grooming, but don't you still think I look kinda cute?) Anyway, I am working on my housebreaking, but I need someone to be home a fair amount of the time so they can take me out to go potty often enough that I don't have accidents in the house. I'd love another dog to play with, and having a fenced yard to run around in would be a real blast. My foster mom says puppies are great fun, but they are also a lot of work, so she is going to be very fussy about who adopts me. I love everybody--including little kids--but I am so tiny (I weigh about 7 lbs.) that my foster mom doesn't want me to go to a home with small children because they might accidentally hurt me. I am up to date on all my shots and I'll be spayed and microchipped before I go home with my new adoptive family. My adoption fee is $225.
