Mr. Tubs

Hey there, I'm Mr. Tubs, a white and tan bulldog/shar pei mix with a heart full of love and a tail that wags at the sight of a friendly face. At 9 years young and a sturdy 78 pounds, I'm the epitome of a low-energy, affectionate senior gentleman who's looking for a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. I'm all about the simple joys in life – a warm spot to nap, a kind hand to pet me, and the occasional treat (I can spot a McDonald's chicken nugget box from a mile away!). I'm house and crate trained, though leashes aren't really my thing. But don't worry, I'm a quick study and eager to please, especially if it means more time by your side. I'm great with children and have lived with an 8-year-old, so I know the ropes when it comes to being gentle and patient. I love a good game of tug-of-war, and I'll never turn down a hug or a cuddle session. When you're away, I'll be dreaming of your return, and greet you with a toy. I prefer to be the only dog in the house, as I like to have all the attention to myself. I'm smart enough to avoid conflicts with other dogs in the home. I am fine with other dogs outside of the home. At the dog park, I'm content to explore the perimeter on my own – it's my way of enjoying the great outdoors. I have a unique way of moving, a prance that might remind you of a walking horse, and when I'm excited, I'll toss my toy in the air and catch it all by myself. I "talk" when we play, expressing my joy in the most adorable ways.
