My Story

Moxie has a good idea of alert dog duties. She will let you know if someone is on your porch or coming into the house, but she settles quickly. She is still young and loves when she can go into the back yard and get her zoomies out. Once that's done, she is really quite mellow and quite happy to lay about. She likes to be wherever you are, but she is content to lay on the floor at your feet. She likes to be petted but she is not needy or demanding about it. She is sharing a house with two other (large) dogs and gets along pretty well, though we feed them separately. She has also been living with cats. Occasionally, when the cats run, it's just too tempting to try and engage them in a game of chase, but for the most part, she is really good with them. I think with proper introductions and positive reinforcement she could live happily with a dog savvy cat (and the cat could be happy, too). She has free range throughout the foster house and does not get into anything (other than food: people, dog, cat, etc.). She does not chew or play with things that aren't hers and is really pretty mellow and chill. It is important that Moxie have a yard with a TALL as she HATES going out on a leash and is quite adept at jumping the 4' fence at her foster home. __________________________________________________ This dog's adoption fee is $525.
