My Story

Oh, Morty! I hear you and your brother, Rick, have a sad tail to tell! Rick and Morty were abandoned, picked up, saved, and are currently in a loving foster home until their forever friends are found. Mr. Morty is a mixed breed and is thought to be about 8-10 months old. He's good with people, kids, and other dogs. He has not met cats. He is very loving, kissable, cuddly, and loves naps! He's potty-trained, kennel-trained, and sleeps through the night! He loves toys and knows some basic commands. He will need lots of love and patience to help him overcome being abandoned and learn to feel safe. Here's to second chances, Morty! Before considering adding Morty to your family, please note that KPAL Rescue has a mandatory adoption process in place which includes a home visit. More information on our adoption process can be found in our pinned post, please read that (and this adoption post) in their entirety - our process cannot be waived. We do not ship our animals and we do not allow for third-party transportation. Our adoption process is outlined on our website: www.kpalrescue.org/pet-adoption/, our Adoption Application can also be found on that website. Please direct questions regarding adoption to [email protected]. Morty will be vetted (age-appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered) prior to formal adoption. There will be an adoption fee of $350 + tax so that we can continue to help other animals in need. As always, donations are also very appreciated. Please share. #kpalrescue
