I am an adorable, super friendly 18 pound Dachshund mix, who came from a local Animal Control, after my owner gave me to someone, who I found out, didn't want me, then just let me run loose. Well, while running loose, some mean person used me for target practice, so I had about 4 to 5 pellet gun wounds, that have healed nicely. I am more of an active guy, and the Vet aged me to at least 6 to 8 years old! Still lots of life to live and love to give!! I am current on my vaccines, chipped, and heartworm negative! My neuter has been done, and while I was under, the Vet pulled a few very loose teeth. I am all fixed up and ready for you!! My teeth are not the best, due to lack of care from my previous owner, but I am unable to have a dental, due to a slight heart murmur. My crate and house manners are good, I get along with the other dogs in my Foster home, but I can't tell you about cats or children, as there are none there. My leash manners are perfect too, so we can go on walks together, OK?! Due to me being used to running loose, a fence will be best for my safety.
