Morgan *Forever in Foster Care*

UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to complicated health issues we were not able to proceed with Morgan’s dentistry. She has serious heart and kidney issues. Morgan is now in our Forever Foster Care program and her foster mom is taking very good care of her. We are doing all we can to keep Morgan happy and comfortable and following her vet’s recommendations. UPDATE: Morgan continues to bring joy to her foster family. They only have good things to say about this dear little gal. After some testing we have learned that Morgan has a heart murmur. She is currently on some medication to help her heart work better. We are going to do testing in 3 months to make sure the medication is doing a good job. At this time, her dentistry is on hold until we know for certain it is safe for her to go have sedation. We have also learned that Morgan has a stone in her gall bladder. Thankfully she is not experiencing any pain or symptoms but we are monitoring her. Morgan is a lovely chihuahua new to our rescue program. She came to us from owners who were no longer able to care for her. Morgan is 11 years old and it has been many years since she was seen by a vet. She is a very sweet little lady and her foster family adore her. Morgan has some complicated medical concerns that we are in the process of assessing and treating. Once we have more information we will post an update and let folks know when she is available for adoption.
