Morey is a two year old German shepherd/border collie mix. He was put up for adoption when his old owners decided that they couldn't be bothered with him anymore. He was on death row when NSC pulled him and we are so glad we did. He is a very happy and loyal dog who enjoys following his people around and being their quiet shadow. He's athletic enough he would do GREAT as an off leash hiking companion or even a jogging partner. Morey is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, house and crate trained, does well with other dogs and would do fine around kids. He is a very submissive dog and loves to give love, so if you'd like to meet Morey please contact Georgia.
The dogs in our program come with an additional four weeks of integration training after adoption. Integration training is one-on-one training with you, your new pet and a trainer. At NSC, we believe the key to successful placement is proper training. This way the dog knows what is expected of him, and you know how to communicate effectively with your dog.
We try to the best of our ability to represent the breed, age and health as accurately as possible; however, as many of these animals come to us with no previous history, in some cases we are going off of educated guesses. Please be aware that while many dogs may appear purebred, there is no guarantee without a DNA check.
