Moppet

Meet Moppet!! She is a very friendly young senior female. She is well-behaved and adapts easily to new environments. She has shown herself to be friendly and affectionate with people and accepting of other dogs. Moppet loves to be close to her person so probably prefers someone who is home often. She is very comfortable up on the sofa close to her person. If provided with steps she will sleep on your bed, at the foot. She loves attention and will gladly roll over for a chest rub. Moppet has cataracts. She is possibly blind in one eye and has limited vision in the other. In spite of that she gets around very well and most of the time there is little to no indication of impaired vision. Sometimes she uses sounds to figure out where to go. She mastered the doggie door in 3 days. This girl gets excited to go for a walk but with those long, lanky legs it's a slight surprise she is not a better walker. Once around the block, slowly, is good for her. When left at home with another dog she is fine. But if left alone Moppet exhibits separation anxiety and barks.
