Moose is a large, healthy 2 yr old purebred Bernese Mt Dog. He is enthusiastic, energetic, very affectionate, playful. Loves human companionship, loves being petted and just hanging out with his people. A little shy initially w/ strangers, as is common to the breed, but he warms up quickly. ~~ Moose is well trained ....... housetrained, comes when called, knows sit and down. Does still pull when walking on a leash, but we are working on that. He gets along great with other large dogs, but tends to chase small animals such as cats, birds, rabbits, and small dogs (under 25 lbs). ~~ Moose will be looking for an experienced owner, with no small dogs nor other small pets, please. He is friendly, but just too large and energetic to go to a home with children under 8-9 yrs old. ~~ Moose is about 100 lbs and 28" tall. ~~
