WE HAVE AN ADOPTION PENDING My name is Monty and I am a handsome shepherd mix, approximately 4 years old. I completed a basic obedience program and graduated having done very well considering I’ve spent most of my life in a yard without training or walks. In spite of my past I do not lack socialization and I have a wonderful loveable personality which I will happily show off to everyone I meet. I’m respectful of other dogs and cats too. I love to play ball and to go for long walks. I still pull a little on my walks but only at first because I’m so excited to get out and finally experience the world. I walk past people and dogs nicely and nothing spooks me it’s just all so wonderful. I am great in the house as I am housetrained and don't chew items up. I’m just a big loveable guy who loves attention and snuggles and belly rubs and ear rubs. I also absolutely love the car and will happily sit in the back seat. A home with children over the age of 12 would be best for me. Please come and meet me. You will see how nice a dog I am."
