Monty !

**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Monty is a sweet, loving little girl! She is very curious, athletic, affectionate and loving. She is very friendly and warms up quickly. She loves to be loved on, played with, and encouraged. Monty is very playful. She and Cookie are like two peas in a pod, or one dog with two heads (bodies); they play together constantly! Monty is pretty small but can climb just about anything. She has a generous and adventurous spirit. She is very affectionate and definitely a lap dog. When not playing or investigating the yard, she prefers to snuggle and curl up on your lap, the chair, or one of the other dogs. Monty is a well-adjusted dog; she gets along with everyone. All of the puppies at the rescue are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls. Monty Is happiest sharing a bowl with a friend or picking up any kibble that spills. Monty is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She absolutely adores Cookie; they are just like two peas in a pod. While I have never seen her interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity. No long distance. Certainly no out of state. A home check and a background check are part of the adoption process An adoption interview will be conducted. One of our volunteers must meet and observe the dog interact with every member of the household, including pets.
