REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER: Monte is an inside/outside dog that is house trained. He walks fairly well on the leash and knows the sit and leave it commands. He would be better in a home with older children. He has a high energy level and enjoys playing with toys and fetch. He previously lived with other dogs and horses and got along well with them. He loves to run, hike, camp, climb rocks. He loves people and will suck on blankets if bored. Hes an athletic dog and can jump over fences under 5 feet tall. Loves to snuggle. He will whisper bark when he needs to go outside. Allergic to salmon and tuna. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Monte is a friendly, fun dog. He can have fun with mostly everyone but can also chill out if needed. He entertains himself well. One look at him and you will want to take him home! Weighs 53 pounds; $25 to adopt.
