Monkey is a 2 yr old male designer dog, being a Maltipoo, a Maltese and Poodle mix. Monkey has lost his owner due to a change in the owner's health condition. His human Mom was bedfast and someone was suppose to be taking care of her and Monkey but they weren't doing so (thus, the shagginess of his coat). A neighbor stepped in to take care of the owner but Monkey was relinquished to the shelter. Monkey is a great little do and small in size, weighing around 12 lbs. He has some staining on the back end of his coat due to the fleas that were on him when we got him but he has now been deflea'd, neutered, and the matting clipped out. A good grooming is all he needs to make him be the dog he should be. Monkey is very sweet and affectionate. He is calm in nature and an ideal family dog. He is a diamond in the rough waiting for his chance to shine!
