Mona

Meet Mona! She's an athletic super fun girl that wants to do all the things, all the time. She's a lowrider. But she makes up for her short stature in personality. She loves to play, adores toys, and is OBSESSED with food which makes training a breeze. We have no idea what her mix is, but she reminds us an awful lot of a bull terrier - with something else stuck in their for good measure (Petfinder makes us choose the secondary breed and to be honest, we really have no clue!) Mona is good with other dogs but is VERY rough and tumble - so dog companions need to match her energy level and not get offended when she T-bones them. Mona is a pretty active girl, so she'll need a home where her exercise needs are met. Want to train for fun dog sports like obedience, agility, or barn hunt - Mona's your girl. Want to go for hikes and explore the PNW - Mona can go for miles. Are you generally lazy and prefer to read books, and snuggle on the sofa? Mona is probably not for you. (Although she is quite snuggly after she's exercised!) We've not tested Mona with kids - but she can be pretty mouthy when she's excited and hasn't had enough exercise so we feel a home with older kids (or no kids) is best. No kitties for this girl - we're working on her kitty skills but on first meeting, she was a bit intense - we'll see how things develop with continued training.
