She was scared and confused at first and will take a bit to warm up but once she knows you are ok then she’s a sweetheart of a dog. She needs a second chance at a forever home. Because she is a blue and tan with a thin coat you will have to keep her in coats or sweaters in the cooler months and be careful in the summer months that she doesn’t sunburn. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund’s back or get bitten.
