My Story

Molly has gone to live with a wonderful couple in Victoria, BC!

Molly is courtesy posted for her rescuer. If interested in Molly please email Sylvia at

Molly is a 15 week old, female, English Mastiff x Rottweiler. She is gentle and sweet and is looking for a quiet INDOOR home. She weighs 30 lbs. now and will probably grow to be 100 lbs. She thinks she is a lap dog, loves to sleep in the bed under the covers with you and believes that she should also be on the couch, watching television with you. Molly needs someone who will appreciate her affectionate nature and who will shower her with love and attention.

She likes going for walks and being outdoors as long as a person is with her. She has no interest in being outside if a person is not with her. She has spent the last 5 weeks living with me and my two dogs. She is house trained and knows come, sit, off, leave it, paw and down. We are working on leash manners, wait and stay. She is very bright and loves to learn.

Molly was temperament tested when she was 10 weeks old and did very well. At that time she was fearful of strangers. We have been consistently working on this. Everywhere we go, people give her treats. She has started to think that people are pretty cool after all and has become quite outgoing and playful.

Molly will do best in a home where her people have the time to continue her socialization on a daily basis. Just like a child, Molly needs to feel that she is safe and protected. As she gains confidence, she ventures out and tries new things, always knowing that she can return to her safe zone with her people.

Molly loves my two dogs and is very respectful of them. She follows Nikita and does everything Nikita does. She enjoys meeting new dogs at the dog park. She would do very well in a home with another dog for companionship.
