Good Golly -Miss Molly …

Isn’t she stunning ?? She literally stops people in their tracks.  She has an amazing combination of grace and beauty, coupled with a typical boxer sense of fun and playfulness.

Molly is a almost 2 year old Boxer/Ridgeback mix, spayed vaccinated and housetrained. 55 pounds and has a perfect figure.

She walks well on a retractable leash but pulls a little on a regular leash. Sadly surrendered by her family, she enjoys being with people and loves to play with dogs of all sizes.

She is now being fostered in a home with 4 dogs (all sizes) and 4 kids (3-14) she gets along great with everyone.. Molly enjoys running in the woods, being by water (not swimming yet), playing fetch will all kinds of toys, throwing stuffed animals up in the air and “hunting” them when they come down. Kong tos are her favorite.

 She is great in the car and is high energy (not hyper) she would be the ideal walking, running or hiking companion.  Molly likes to swim and run in the woods. She has just been trained to an electronic fence and is familiar with a doggie door. Her next home should have one of the two, she needs to run  free and that needs to be in a secure environment as she is not great on her recall. Molly knows all her basic obedience and is a real quick learner.  (She can also sing and dance and plays third seat trumpet....)

Molly is not destructive in any way a classic combo of Marmaduke and Scooby-doo all sweetness and love.  Molly is great with kids and is good with cats. Molly is just the most loving dog she loves to be “on you” when you sit she is either in your lap or on laying on your feet of course when you go to bed she feels it is her duty to join you. She is not a barker but will alert you immediately to anything on the property she finds out of order.  As most American beauties, she enjoys all the comforts of a kind loving home, especially cuddling on the couch, and stealing the blankets in bed. 

Molly is crate trained and enjoys the companionship of both humans and pets - ideally we would like her to go to home with other dogs and a fenced yard but that is not required.

Molly is the girl of your dreams - This is a WONDERFUL girl who will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty. Molly has a Ridgebacks heart and will bond fully to her forever family.

We are a non-profit, 100% volunteer group striving to provide safe and happy “forever” homes for the FURKIDS that are trusting us and have found their way to our care.

The Adoption Facts:

1.       You must be 21 years or older to adopt

2.       We DO NOT place pets more than 100 miles out of NYC

3.       An adoption application is required (link below)

4.       There is a pre-screening process for potential home placement,

including  a phone interview and the initial application. (This benefits you, our foster

homes  and the pet.) This is all done BEFORE you meet the pet.

1.       Be advised that we do respond to each and every completed  application within

a 14 day period. Please be patient we know you are anxious to adopt

there are only so many hours in a day. We are trying our best. At this time we are

unable to respond to emails with questions (will he fit my home? Is he available? I have xyz will he like it here?)
