Moka

Hi, I'm Moka! This photo shows me doing my best imitation of a bronze statue...pretty good, no? I look very noble and serious, but really I'm a sweet silly girl of just under two years old. My story smacks of destiny; I was 24 hours away from being euthanized at a local city shelter when one of the volunteers I had unknowingly charmed decided he would foster me and help me find a great home. He says he doesn't know what made him do it, other than that he could just tell there was something very special about me! That was several months ago, and now Friends for Life is going to help us look for a home too because time is starting to run out on me again. I'm a very athletic and energetic girl, and it's been suggested that I could have a little Dingo in me. If that's true, it would explain my love of wide open spaces and need for a few hours of exercise each day. I am extremely social and exceptionally bright, and sometimes my curiousity for new people gets the best of me! Apparently, not all humans enjoy being hugged and licked...who knew? Dan ( that's my foster) wants my new family to be really interested in training me, because I have a lot of something called "potential." Maybe I can become a famous agility dog one day.
