This cutie is Mochi! Mochi came in as a stray so we don't know too much about her past, but she is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs around 55#. When Mochi was being assessed for adoption staff noted that she leashed up well and allowed all body handling without any issues. They described her personality as being "very sweet and cuddle, just melts as you pet her!" Mochi seemed to enjoy playing with toys and was a very good girl for her vetting! In her dog tests Mochi seemed very excited to engage with the other dogs and has enjoyed joining in with some of the doggie playgroups, but can be an intense rough and tumble player who sometimes struggles to back down from an argument. Animal Friends is happy to set up and meet and greet to see if Mochi's play style is a good fit for the pup(s) in your own home! Mochi is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
